PTACC Faculty Training Course
The PTACC Faculty Training Course prepares registered nurses to deliver the Pediatric Trauma Across the Care Continuum (PTACC) program at their institution. This course covers didactic content, interactive skill stations, and student evaluation methods across all core PTACC curriculum areas.
Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped to teach PTACC course modules and skill stations, including C-spine, chest tube, and wound vac, as part of an STN-approved PTACC program.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must hold a current, unencumbered RN license, be an active STN member, hold a BSN or higher, possess a professional nursing certification or advanced degree, and have a minimum of three years of clinical pediatric trauma nursing experience.
